It was recently decided that I will be working part time at the University of New Hampshire this coming fall as the undergraduate staff. There is a student ministry of thirty five and it gives me great joy to be able to help them continue to flourish in Christ and reach out to others with the Good News of what God has done and is doing in the world. I will also be continuing the missions role, but on a part time basis as well. I am busy this week with support raising

God has been so faithful, as He always promises to be in this process so far! At this point, He has brought in over 10% of my monthly needs, which is so encouraging. I have been able to reconnect with old friends, and start to form partnerships with people that I hope last years. At this point I am working at support full time, and hoping to be finished by the new year. A bold desire, but I believe God can make that happen. I am currently searching for more contacts in the Boston area with potential supporting individuals or Churches, as a lot of my work will be done in Boston. If you know of any please let me know, thanks! Until next time, I hope all of our hope is laid up in heaven, not looking for it here on earth.

I just got back from Intervarsity's regional conference. It was a great time of meeting my future staff co-workers. This week I have started raising support, so far my attitude has been positive about the whole thing, which is a total blessing of God. Please pray that I would continue to persevere in the support process, as it gets difficult at various points.

The company I work for has hired four students this summer to learn how to transition from college and the para-church to the marketplace and local church. It is a program I am very excited about being a part of because I believe this transition is one of the most important in establishing good patterns in your faith. Pray that as I interact with students through Intervarsity I would be able to play a small part in helping them develop skills to be life long abiders, not just a season of life.

Hello all, this is my first official blog. In fact, I have never blogged before - so this is a big step for me towards embracing social media. Something I had vouched I would not do...I guess we often fail to reach our ideals! It has been such an adventure of abiding in God and having Him direct me to this vocation with Intervarsity. It is my desire to conform more to His image as a result of trusting Him with this step.
I will use this blog to update you on things that are happening in my journey of vocational ministry. I hope what God does in my life, and what is communicated on this sight will be used to build up the body of Christ. I hope when you read the entries and updates it will be used to bring you closer into an abiding, not performing, relationship with our Father. Until next blog, thank you for visiting my site!
