University of New Hampshire Campus Ministry

Picture

InterVarsity currently has a chapter of thirty-five undergraduates at UNH. The staff who was leading them recently left for another assignment, leaving a vacancy. It was decided this spring, that being an alumni from UNH, and having two years experience doing campus ministry in Kazakhstan, made it a good fit for me to step into the role of part time UNH campus staff. As the other pages will describe, the other half of my time will be spent working on the New Orleans and Dominican Republic mission projects. It is with great joy that I step into this role at UNH. I so long to see students receive Christ and be born again, growing into maturity.

Goals of UNH Campus Ministry

  • See our current leadership team of students mature into the image of Christ and lead others to do the same.
  • See ten students be born again during the fall semester of 2011.
  • Send five students on cross-cultural mission trips during the summer of 2012, and implement their experience at UNH.
  • Send a team of three graduating students to plant a campus ministry at an unreached campus in New England in the fall of 2012.
  • To see the entire ministry saturated in the Gospel, teaching that the Gospel is the most important thing for Christians and non-Christians.
Prayer Requests
  • That I will be fully funded by the fall so I can be on campus.
  • That I will have unity with the current leadership team, building one another up in the Truth of Christ.
  • That we would be used by God to reach many students lost in darkness at UNH.
  • That my leadership will be based on submission to Christ and humility.
